Bihar land scam can be suicidal

In my last post I have mentioned that "Backwardness of Bihar can be proved as blessing in disguise. Propagandas like seminars and invitations for investment are not enough. Serious ground work and sincere preparation need to be done in advance with vision for next 20-50 years. Swift planning and prompt action is required."

India became significant outsourcing destination because of its low cost advantage. Now when the cost advantage is gone in all the major cities, second tier cities like Patna, Lucknow, Nagpur, Mangalore, Coimbtore, Ranchi, Bhopal, Nainital can try to utilize this golden opportunity by providing world class infrastructure with promising measures towards sustaining low cost.

Mostly Bihar has grown as a consumer market. Serious efforts are required to boost up the production which will help in long run. But it's heartbreaking to see that least has been done in Bihar for infrastructure development like a brand new IT city with infrastructure, energy, roads, trains, metro, IT parks, telecommunication, housing, sanitations, school, malls, cinema halls, govt offices, kiosks, banks etc.

To add to the misery, now land scam has surfaced which is unfortunate for Bihar and mockery on the claims of industrial growth plans. Lands have been acquired from farmer and distributed deliberately to the Keith and kin of ministers, mafia and bureaucrats. This is going to affect the great Bihari dreams negatively and doom the future of Bihar further. You try googling for land in the vicinity of Patna and Bangalore. You will notice the prices of commercial as well as residential lands are shockingly and surprisingly same. A big hype is being created which can be suicidal for Bihar. This is the situation when development is only planned. You can imagine what will happen when development works start to happen and hundreds of companies and hundred thousand professionals move to that region and seek commercial or residential lands.

Cost advantage will dissapear before existing.

If Bangalore is developed and successful, then why anyone will come to Patna? Will it make sense for any invester/professional to drive all the way to Bihar?

Being a common man, I never understand what is the need of such greed which is killing the golden goose? When few crores should be sufficient to lead a decent life and which can be earned through hard work and honesty. Then why they tend to earn thousand of crores by unfair means? Those who are doing this are probably mentally sick or insecure about their feature and want to earn as much as possible. Why don't they understand that their crimes may lead them to jail.

This is definitely hurting the intrest of Bihar and of India.

The need is to acquire land from farmers with their consent and by paying proper compensation and carefully planning commercial, housing layouts with proper infrastructure and allocating the lands directly to consumers instead of brokers. This will ensure log term cost advantage, attract investers and professionals and will trigger real development.

Identify the energy suckers in your life!

Identify the energy suckers in your life!

You find them everywhere around you. You decide to do something which you are confidant of doing and you have high energy and enthusiasm. You will find them telling you “this is ridiculous”, “this is impossible”, “this is not going to work”, “don’t waste your time”, “this not your cup of tea”, “you will fail”, “people will laugh at you”, “you are incompetent”, “this is suicidal”, “are you out of your mind”, “this is a good idea but not good enough”, “this is a good idea but not feasible” and so on. As soon as you hear these words, your energy starts to fade, you start losing confidence. They suck your energy with their negativity. They are the energy suckers.

Do not confront with them. Do not waste your time in arguing with them. But do listen to them as that will help you to aware about list of possible risks. List those risks and formulate the mitigation strategy. But do not agree to their words. They are not God.

Maintain your energy, keep your enthusiasm intact, be confidant, have faith in you and keep going on till you succeed.

Are we bringing up chicken?

Interesting day for India because of the two news!

Diesel/Cooking gas price hiked
India has lost a hefty sum of money in the recent huge scams like 2G and CWG. Now as the government can't recover money from the scamsters they are increasing the cost of Patrol, Diesel, Cooking Gas.

Also we get regular advertisements to pay the income tax on time so that the money can be used in the new arms and fighter aircrafts deals so that new scams can be done.

Of course BJP will cry again as they will not remember the price hikes during their regime in 19-03-98 to 22-05-04 when LPG price increased from Rs 140 to 280 approx as displayed below.

For us life will just go on.

Talks resumed with Pakistan
So what if parliament was attacked, so what if our soldiers were killed in kargil war and getting killed in pseudo wars every now and then, so what our innocent brothers, sisters and children were killed or getting killed, so what every city is under threat.

In the recent past our army has done well by restricting the infiltration at border. Our innocent government believe that as Pakistan has kept all his promises so its is time for the peace talks. India should open its borders and be courteous with visa restrictions so that terrorists should come on a proper visa and kill people. When you talk about common people, either side situation is no different due to chronic issues like poverty, corruption, illiteracy, unemployment and terrorism. There is a true saying "what you sow is what you reap" and another one is "Cheat me once, shame on you, cheat me twice shame on me".

When public related issues come into picture the government acts like a innocent/ignorant baby or sometimes like General Dyre and when there is opportunity for corruption they act like punters and records break.

I often ask myself "will our children too have to go through same what we are going through"? Are we bringing them up as chicken for the system so that their blood can be sucked or they can be butchered by the system? One day they will have voting rights to choose a corrupt government, they will live in awful law and order condition and pay income taxes on time when they start earning which will be looted.

It's scary and depressing. God bless!

Time will tell the truth.

When democracy failing why not Lokpal will?

When the complete infrastructure of democracy is crumbling, what is the guarantee that the Lokpals and Lokpal bill will not meet the same fate?

This is unfortunate that we Indians have to choose from bad and worse in every election. When bad are chosen they become worst. When some rare good are chosen they become worse.

Promoters of the Lokpal bill trying to bring everyone and everything under the scanner.

Is this conspiracy to transfer the power from elected members to a set of non elected members?

Kiran Bedi said that "India loses $16 billion per year because of corruption". When there is so much money involved, what is the guarantee that the Lokpals will not adopt or forced to the same malpractices? What is the guarantee that they will not melt or succumb to greed?

The constitution in this so called great democratic republic has provisions to tackle each and every challenge and there is provision to update them through a transparent procedure on the floor in parliament or assembly. Unfortunately that is often underutilized and/or misused by every government whether it is Congress, BJP or other party.

Congress has ruled for majority of the time and no wonder she is the mother of most of the scams.

Who is lagging behind?

Former BJP president was nabbed red handed while taking bribe in a string operation. BJP’s Advani was named in Hawala scandal and got a clean chit by supreme court because CBI could not produce enough evidences and interestingly BJP was ruling then. Was CBI manipulated? Because BJP knows the truth, it it the reason that they say CBI is not an independent organization?

Another question here is why the UPA govt will bring a strong anti corruption lokpal bill? Their members are the major beneficiary of the corruption. Why they will axe themselves? At the same time they cant think of losing the power on this issue in next election so some effort will be to please and pacify through a weak lokpal bill. And I feel expecting anything more is height of expectation as i said in my last blog. My opinion is to negotiate with the government and have maximum coverage of anti corruption agenda, later fight the election, win it and modify the bill and every other regulation which need to be in the interest of India.

I appreciate and support the anti corruption activities and activists. Because of their pure relentless efforts, India is supporting them unanimously. That is why I believe now it is the time that a new national party should be launched by them and honest and educated candidates who have proven themselves in their fields should be given ticket. They should take the message in every corner of India. India will definitely vote for change! Once in power they can reciprocate upon the trust by voters.

Keep dreaming!

Finally, A heart touching scene from the blockbuster movie Deewar (1975). Nothing has changed since then. Same poverty, same corruption, same struggle and same police.

It touched my heart since I saw it first time in ninties. A boy is shot for stealing a piece of bread and then his mother's outburst on the police finally his father acquits the cop because theft if theft. Add the power pact acting and background music.

Height of expectation!

Every Indian (except politician) is frustrated by the corruption, inflation and poverty in India, is fed up and angry. Right activists, patriots, media and internet has helped us to become aware about the condition of India, become aware about our rights and helped to ignite the sentiments in common Indian to fight again, for the freedom. Politicians and attention seeker babas have been busy putting their best to take advantage of these sentiments through protests, fast, rallies and cheap verbal arguments, satires etc. BJP president has interesting comment last week i.e. "To expect anti-corruption bills from Congress is like expecting cooperation from Pakistan against terrorism." He is right but as a common man I would like to replace Congress with current parliamentarians i.e. "To expect anti-corruption bills from parliamentarians is like expecting cooperation from Pakistan against terrorism." Congress, BJP or any other party, they just start making money by all means whenever and wherever they get opportunity and complain whenever and wherever they don’t have opportunity. Corruption is breaking all the records in India. The ruling party has the major share and responsibility. Under these circumstances expecting a law from them to combat corruption and bring justice is height of expectation. Rallies, fast and protest for our demands is utter waste of time. This is not going to scare these thick skinned witty politicians. What should we do now? The need is to launch another national party, represented by honest, educated Indians who have proved themselves and have no political history. Through the party we should take these sentiments to every Indian and start campaigning for 2014 election. When this party gets absolute mandatory, everything can be possible which seems impossible now. Dream, Dedicate and Deploy! Here is a countdown dedicated to our dream! (Considering that the 15th Lok Sabha Election was conducted in May 2009, its term will expire on 1 June 2014.)

Shameful act by government of India

It's not about Swami Ramdev and Govt of India. It's about the Indian black money in Swiss bank and other places.

Swami has done nothing wrong by getting permission for yoga because the demons would never give permission for the aandolan.

They will do anything and everything for to protect their Rs 72,80,000 Crores. Dirty tricks, allegations, article 144, killing and so on.

What a shameful act by government of India. This was going to be a peaceful strike but the corrupt government decided to murder the democracy in the darkness. Tear gas and lathicharge on peaceful women and men representing entire India is heart breaking. This is not done. This day will be considered as a dark day in the history of democracy in India.

The prime minister should resign and the government and parliament should be dissolved. The parties supporting government should take back their support in the favour of Indian to lead way for fresh elections. Bharat Swabhimaan Manch should contest on all the seats. This will lead to a new light and a new destiny.

Indian got no space for Congress, BJP and each party who have ruled India so far and looted India.

Now it's time for another quit India movement.

"भ्रष्ट्जनो भारत छोड़ो"

God bless Swami, God bless India!

Can tainted ones lead to victory of India?

In my earlier post I mentioned that "It's not about Swami Ramdev and Govt of India. It's about the Indian black money in Swiss bank and other places. Even Swami calls off this aandolan, we Indian should continue the strike and stay on the venue unmoved till this is done."

Not to my surprise, my dear brothers and sisters the so called hunger till death has been called off. This is another victory for congress and loss for India. God only knows the truth but the Swami has been alleged for tax evasion, abduction, murder and many other controversies and it was easy to nail him by the veterans in Congress. As the stubborness might have been costly it seems that Swami succumbed to the black mail.

"जिनके खुद के घर शीशे के हो वो दुसरे पर पत्थर नहीं फेंकते."
"People who live in glass houses should not throw stones."

I would like to mention that years back I have bought Swami's Yoga lessons video. I watched it for few minutes and never watched it again. The reason was he sounded so commanding and arrogant. No doubt his team has got great selling skills which turned yoga into a global brand. Though yoga experts quite often questioned the quality of yoga taught by him. But in today's era the art of selling makes a product successful not quality.

Can any controversial personality and tainted ones residing in glass house will be able to conclude such movements successfully and bring justice to India and Indians?

I wish that Swami resists the black mail and continue on the fast till death or till the demands are met. People are with him. This daring act will make him a Mahatma. Will he?

But I believe that there is strong possibility that a deal has been done between Govt and Swami. A drama for few days will be played in front of media and nothing concrete will happen. Bringing back the black money from Swiss banks still appears a dream. It's a real eye opener and now it's time for a faceless movement by common Indian. The anger of people present at the venue indicates that the day will come soon.

Declaration of Indian accounts in Swiss as national property

The hunger strike called Bhrashtachar Mitao Satyagraha organized by the Bharat Swabhiman Trust starting from 4th June with main agenda to declare accounts of Indians in tax havens as national property is going to be a significant event for India.

The total amount of black money deposited in foreign banks by Indians is unknown, but one estimate by R Vaidyanathan, a Professor of Finance, estimated the total at over Rs 72,80,000 Crores (USD $1.4 trillion).

As per the figures of Indian economy 2010, the Gross external debt for India is $ 0.2371 trillion, public debt is $ 0.758 trillion, total expense is $ 0.2574 trillion.

That means India can payback all its debt and still can have surplus reserve.

It's not about Swami Ramdev and Govt of India. It's about the Indian black money in Swiss bank and other places. Even Swami calls off this aandolan, we Indian should continue the strike and stay on the venue unmoved till this is done.

We must appreciate the work of late Rajiv Dixit who proposed the solution and had filed the case in Supreme Court to get the declaration of money kept in Swiss bank as national property as Swiss banks cannot keep national property in their banks as per their laws. Though he is not with us, his thoughts and lectures are available online and reveals untold/hindden stories. They worth listening because if not all, many of the contents may enlighten you with the thoughts to bring India on track.

Many countries has already declared their money in Swiss bank as national asset and got them back. For example "Nepal has got $5 billion dollars in Swiss banks declared as national property. So has Philippines and Zaire ever since Switzerland has become a United Nations member."

Is BJP Dying?

The poor show by BJP in the 2009 loksabha election raises a question.

"Is BJP going to die"?

Even if we consider the grand victory in 2010 assembly elections in Bihar, the credit goes to Nitish Kumar. Before election, BJP tried to promote their existence separate from Nitish's shadow through controversial advertisements in the local newspapers about their aid during Kosi floods in Bihar and pictures with Narendra Modi. This backfired and provoked Nitish to return the aid provided by Gujrat. Thank God this issue was resolved as BJP accepted the reality of being number two in the state and they contested together and result came in the interest of Bihar. When BJP supreme in Bihar Sushil Modi was interviewed after the victory and asked about the challenges his stereotype statement was something like "what happened in last 50-60 years can't be done soon but we will work together by all means". Quoting the past was unnecessary. It was a sign of same old excuse and lack of will power and a mood spoiler.

There was a time when I became a supporter for BJP. Not because of its Hindutva agenda but because I believed that it is a party for common men and alternative for Congress. It gave me a strong sense of feeling that even if you do not belong to a dynasty, if you are strong and competent you can become PM of India one day. Coming back to the topic, I feel different now these days about as it is going low everyday.

Every time fuel price is hiked, BJP gets another opportunity to act weird, shout and yell. What BJP has to say about the hikes/inflation during their regime in 19-03-98 to 22-05-04? And why petrol price is highest in Karnataka? Please look at the graph below.

When nexus of corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and land mafias grab lands of the poor farmers, BJP blames the old Land Acquisition Policy of British era. What BJP was doing in their time?

What action has been taken in the land scams in BJP ruled Karnataka and Rs 11412 crore scam related to fraudulent withdrawals in Bihar?

What BJP has to say about the shameful tricks embraced to win the confidence motion last year in Karnataka assembly? Is everything fare to remain in power on the cost of dignity?

Why BJP government in Chhattisgarh is adamant to accuse the renowned human right activists Dr. Binayak Sen on the serious charge of sedition?

With what kind of intentions BJP introduced the "First come first serve policy" in telecommunication deals which was exploited by A Raja and team and resulted in one of the biggest scam in Indian history?

What kind of maturity was shown by BJP when they refuse to attend parliament session just like a kid who cry and refuse to go school? Then what is the need of such sessions? On the other hand they just ignore the issues in ruling states, why such a double standard?

Why BJP again started to complain on Bofors issue when Quattrochi got a clean chit in the scam? What they were doing during their rule? Why they did not bring the truth of scam then? Was five years not enough? Instead of writing letters to Sonia now why Advani did not completed the enquiry in those five years?

What BJP was doing to bring the money from Swiss bank to India during their time?

Is BJP/JDU also responsible for the misery of Bihar along with RJD and Congress?
Another hot topic these day is Special status for Bihar and payment of compensation package of Rs 1,79,000 crore due to bifurcation in 2000.
Then ruling RJD and opposition BJP and JDU together demanded a Rs 1,79,000 crore as compensation when Jharkhand portion was separated. Though the NDA was in power in center (1998-2004) and Nitish himself the railway minister the state could not get the package. Later on the Manmohan Singh government failed to ensure that package though both Lalu Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan were ministers in the UPA. Bihar continued to be ignored and/or exploited. Did the fatal rivalry between RJD andBJP/JDU resulted into nasty politics and proved costly to Bihar?

Once Sushma Swaraj has commented on then newly formed coalition government
कही का ईंट कही का रोड़ा
भानुमती ने कुनबा जोड़ा

Then later why BJP led NDA formed a coalition government for the period 19-03-98 to 22-05-04? What is the need of such kind of unnecessary statements?

The period witnessed below significant events:

1998 Pokhran nuclear test
On 11 May 1998 Pokhran nuclear test brought proud for India though these nuclear tests resulted in a variety of sanctions against India by a number of major countries. However this was second one; first nuclear test was carried way back on 18 May 1974. Also it is interesting that BJP government came in power on 19 March 1998 and within three months this test had been carried out successfully. Are such tests so easy and can be done in such short time? There is strong possibility that previous governments might have supported this and eventually BJP government got all the credit.

1999 Kargil War
The Kargil conflict was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999. The nuclear tests by India and Pakistan in 1998, led to an increasingly belligerent atmosphere. In an attempt to defuse the situation, both countries signed the Lahore Declaration in February 1999, promising to provide a peaceful and bilateral solution to the Kashmir conflict. Though then Pakistan's Army chief Musarraf had briefed the PM Sharif on the Kargil operation 15 days ahead of Vajpayee's journey to Lahore on February 20.

While India was busy in Lahore yatra, enemies were infiltrating our territories. The controversial Bofors tanks played a key role in the victory.

Though the victory gave BJP another trump card for bragging it is interesting to ponder why it happened? Cheat me once shame on you, cheat me twice shame on me! Why every time we trust them? In my opinion the foreign polices should be to seal the borders with high thick wall and break all the relations till they meet all our genuine demands.

2001 Indian Parliament attack
This was another grave failure. Did either the Prime Minister or Home Minister or any other minister volunteer to resign? Though they demanded resignations after Mumbai Attack in 2008. How senior leaders like Adwani can indulge themselves in personal comments like "Manmohan Singh is a weak PM"?

2002 Gujarat violence
A shame for India. India must not let it happen. A religion and hatred based politics will make India another Pakistan.

We as a common person are getting skimmed by everyone. Government, realtors, financial intuitions, inflation, healthcare, transports, taxis, autos, airlines, entertainment (PVR, music, movie), restaurants (Pizza huts), clothing, super malls, higher cost of living everyone having a cut on us. Government is taking lands from farmers on a bare minimum price and giving it to corrupt nexus of politicians and land mafias. Either we pay high rents or we pay throat cutting price just for a small flat. To pay that huge amount we end up paying huge loans. We pay huge interests and get trapped in endless loop. Bank give loans at 7% floating and in few months they increase the rate of interest to 14%. On the other hand farmers lose their lands. Instead of cultivating grains and vegetables, buildings are getting constructed. Now grains and vegetables need to be imported from other remote districts to fulfill the demand. Increased patrol price adds on the transportation cost and no wonder the grocery cost become high with eventually increases the cost of living. All left for us is debt and struggle.

Congress is getting damaged day by day because of extreme corruption, sky rocketing inflation, insensitive policies like taxes on healthcare facilities and standing at back foot and is in remedial mode. The internal selfish politics inside the party is causing departure of influential leaders like Mamta, Sharad, Sangma and Jagmohan and eventually kneel down to their might.

Coming back to the politics of dynasty, if Bapu, JP and countless freedom fighters of India would have thought of political dynasty, India might have been different country under different dynasties. We should express our gratitude to those great souls for their selfless service to the nation. Though Rahul Gandhi looks way ahead of their BJP counterparts today because he is putting his sincere efforts to sweat and explore India. It is not his fault to born in a dynasty and if he would have wished he could have become PM of India easily without stepping out from his air-conditioned chambers.

Again Congress can't be spared from the responsibility of the ongoing problems like scams, controversies, inflation. These issues are becoming unbearable for common men and strong effective actions required in the interest of India and Indians. Increasing fuel price just after the assembly elections is a cheap politics and is sort of cheating and coward act. I expect the government to be honest, be brave and assertive to tell the facts and take action without considering election timings and act towards resolving the problems.

On the other hand when everyday I see BJP and other leaders in opposition making hue and cry on almost every issue like corruption, inflation, terrorism but they hardly look into their own deeds, it irritates my already frustrated soul. So what if they are not in power, as a common man I expect that they should debate in parliament and provide constructive inputs for solving the issues instead of pointing fingers. This can improve their degrading reputation and if they win in next election they ACT on these issue and produce results. If they don't then I believe there is enough of Congress and there is enough of BJP, India desperately needs another national party.

Life goes on for us in the hope of better tomorrow!
