Somnath Tripathi's digital marketing is making lot of Buzz these days.

Product owners need marketing and digital marketers fulfill this demand by legal means by claiming there is nothing wrong with that if there is no law against that. Somnath ran a digital marketing company and had exit when realized this is spam. But spamming continues. The need is to have a strong law to protect consumer's interest. Politically motivated Character assassination of Individual will not solve this problem.

Still our mobile phones, digital inbox get umpteen number of marketing mails. Facebook, Google have ads all around. Magazine, Newspapers, Channel and every offering of Times group like Times of India itself is full with advertisements. Every Program in Every TV channel is flooded with advertisements. Every day you get calls for Credit cards, loans, vacation offer, promotional offers, ring tones, guy will ring your door bell, interrupt you wherever you are and so on. Who doesn't hate these billboards, posters, hoardings, advertising and calls. Consumer pay for cable to watch TV program not commercials, take newspaper or magazine to read news, have mobile and computer with internet connection not to receive unwanted calls and information.



The aggressive marketing strategy today including digital marketing has come from USA and western world. The citizen there are more conscious for their rights. The people there objecting and governments covering up by introducing some ineffective law. TV, Media, Newspapers, Magazine, Mobile, Inbox still remain flooded with unwanted call and information. Product corporate world doesn't care about what is customer's interest. Politicians will not make strong law as they get benefit from corporates. Worse is that many of the advertisements and marketing strategy are designed to attract children and parents are forced to buy unwanted and unhealthy products.

We need a Right to Advertisement free life. That is the need of the hour. Unfortunately there is no such law. Media, Corporate and Politicians will not utter single word about that because that is their bread and butter.
