पीएम ने नोटों की लगायी
शपथ जो ली वो निभायी

किसी गली से गुजर रहा था
चौपाल के पास मेरे
कदम बस ठिठक गए
नोटों पर चर्चा चली थी
गरीबी भी बातों में निकली थी
बेरोजगारों की हालत बुरी थी
बिजली पानी न देखी सुनी थी
विकास कागज पे हुयी थी
पर एफ़एम-टीवी के विज्ञापन
कुछ हौसला दे रही कह,
दिन बुरे जाने वाले हैं, अच्छे दिन आने वाले हैं।

चलते चलते नुक्कड़ पहुंचा
एक झोपड़ के पास मेरे
कदम बस ठिठक गए
दीवाल झुकी टूटी हुयी थी
ऊपर छत भी नहीं थी
घर अँधेरे में था डूबा
बाबा ने ताड़ी पी रखी थी
भूखे बच्चे बिलख रहे थे
रसोई में रोटी नहीं थी
माँ उन्हें फुसला रही थी कह,
दिन बुरे जाने वाले हैं, अच्छे दिन आने वाले हैं।

मैं घर आया, भांग खाया
मदिरा पी, कश लगाया
होश को धकिया दिया
हवा को लतिया दिया
तकिये को मुक्किया दिया
खुद को कुछ बहका लिया
रो-हँसा, मन पगला लिया
फिर साँसों को गहरा लिया
निराशा को झुठला दिया
सपने नए सजा लिया कह,
दिन बुरे जाने वाले हैं, अब अच्छे दिन आने वाले हैं।

Returning home around 9 pm,
stuck into kilometers long jam,
breathing the subtle polluted air
is not new.

What new is ...
looking outside from Olacabs ride
booked through OlaMoney
the #DigitalMoney.

What not so nice is ...
seeing long queues outside few ATMs
and NO Cash or Shutters down at most ATMs
and no change inside my wallet? :(

What a pity is ...
Seeing street vendors waiting for customers
to sell fruits, flowers, toys, cotton candies, bindis ...
9 pm and nothing sold as no one has cash? :((

It's becoming ugly utter,
a burden bitter with each day,

1. BJP's over trust on Paswan, Manjhi and Kushwaha who does not have significant vote bank

2. BJP's failure to promote local leadership

3. Highly centralized Election campaign

4. Foul mouthed statements by BJP leaders

5. Poor ticket distribution especially tickets allotment to millionaires who did not sweat enough and relied on BJP votes.

6. Poor handling of Dadri Lynching, Beef controversy and other minority sentiment

7. Gen V. K. Singh's statement of Dog in context of Dalit killing

8. Mohan Bhagwat's statement of revising reservation policy

9. BJP banners placed in every corner of Bihar bearing giant sized photos of Modi and Amit Shah only and tiny photos of Lotus or BJP.

10. Lack of coordination with the central team, local workers and resident/NRI volunteers

The horrible memories of Jungle Raj in Bihar still haunt our soul. This motivated many of us to work proactively to stop this from happening. It was a tough task where Nitish and Lalu have decisive vote bank. Many of us gave 200% in LittiPeCharcha, calls and voice campaigns. Sad day for Bihar which desperately needs significant reforms and investment.

I hope Jungleraj II might not happen because
1. RJD does not have absolute mandate
2. Next generation RJD leaders might not repeat the past mistakes
3. If RJD-JDU tie become bitter, JDU again joins hands with BJP.
4. As next Loksabha election will be due, even BJP will welcome JDU.

Let's keep fingers crossed!

Big data based support to BJP by NRI/NRB Team in Bihar Election

A highly networked team of NRIs and NRBs in different part of world played a significant role in election campaign for BJP. Campaign was done by dedicated teams for #NriBiharMeetPM, #LittiPeCharcha, ‪#‎NriCallBihar‬,‪#‎NriBiharVoice‬, ‪#‎NriBiharSocial‬.

#NriBiharMeetPM team lead by Atul Kumar and Lakshmi Narayan Singh met Mr. Narendra Modi in USA and presented the vision document for Bihar. This was perfect launch for the election campaign #BiharKeLiye. Mr. Modi was highly impressed and mentioned about the same in his election rallies in Bihar.





#LittiPeCharcha Team from different parts of world consisting of Atul Kumar, Santosh Pandey , Saroj, Ram N Kumar, Samir, Ashok Sharma, Ajay Krishna Singh, Prabhu Singh, Vikas, Saziq, Karnika drove #LittiPeCharcha in 100 plus cities. This helped the team to reach masses through digital and print media. This also helped to network a calling team of BJP supporters












The #NriCallBihar 50+ NRI team including Lakhmi Narayan Singh, Achalesh Amar, Anand Gupta, Panduranga Bhat, Ratnesh Mishra, Binay Jha, Neeraj Chaturvedi,Sachin Chitlangia, Ramana Muppalla, Girija Shankar Pathak, Kamal Rawat, Ram Shashtry, Anil Sharma, Prabhu Mishra, Saurabh Chaudhry, Indraneil Gokhle, Ashish Nigam, Manoj Chaturvedi, Pramod Bhagat, Sowjanya, Jayshree Nair and many more, each calling almost 5-50 calls a days for months and keep adding more callers from their network. The members were also part of the NRI team which made about millions of call during 2014 Parliamentary election.

Call planning was done by Amitabh Jha equipped with call databases of influential people like Mukhiya, Panch, Sarpanch, Ward Member, Zila Parishad member, election duty officers, businessmen, bankers, govt staffs member etc. Each of these voters capable of influencing hundreds of vote. Assembly/Area wise demographics like voter counts based on Age, Gender, Sir name were also used to determine the calling strategy. Panduranga Bhat lead the calling team and made sure that capacity was strategically deployed based on these data. Calls made to tens of thousand of those influential people. Interestingly team could successfully convert thousands of Mahagathbandhan supporters to vote for BJP and thus converting lakhs of votes in favor of BJP.





Shantanu Gupta helped to connect Mr. Amit Shah team with the NRI team and calling status was regularly shared through Mr. CR Patil. Many other friends from Media and other sources like Binod Pandey, Vikas, Gopal Jee etc. also joined hand.

#NriBiharVoice team lead by Neeraj Chatruvedi drove Voice/Text SMS campaign including fund raising through closed group. 25 second voice messages from various NRIs in regional Bihari languages as well as text message were send to millions of phone numbers to educate and encourage voters to vote for BJP. Messages were repetitively sent and each delivered message was tracked through software to ensure that messages are heard for complete 25 seconds. Often in such bulk Voice SMS campaigns, many users disconnect phone after listening voice for few seconds. But it was encouraging to learn that most of the calls were heard for full time sent from these NRIs thus making voice calls a grand success.

#NriBiharSocial team used social media to trend sensitive topics, bring issues and shut mouth of opponents. To make the content viral, technology and tools were used and custom software developed to automate message and trending. Trends like #LittiPeCharcha #Vote4BJP, #BiharKaSach, #LittiPeCharcha4BJP, #BihariNRIs4Modi Trends like ‪#‎BiharTop50Influential‬ were used to motivate supporters to be active in social media. Automated tweets were sent frequently to influential twitter accounts and lakhs of other account.



It was great team work where different groups worked in harmony and coordination by all means in spite of difference in opinion and belief. The team of consist of self motivated, passionate, nationalist and Bihar’s well wishers members. None of the team members were active BJP member and no fund was used from BJP. Biharis behind Bihar Society, Bihar Revival Forum active for Bihar welfare played active role too.
