Appraisal time poetry!

This year is about to retire, and my Secret Santa inspired me to write a poem which make people laugh out loud. Here is my effort!

I wanted a change big or small,
boss wasn't in office so I tried to call.
He picked the call, while on a stroll
and said for change he came to mall.
Standing at the ATM he's answering the call,
I rushed to join'em to roll the ball! ;)
Four hours in queue we stand like a wall,
neither him nor me got any change at all!
 Both of us came back discussing the shortfall.
Note-ban and politics making India crawl!
Computer then restarted for the updates install,
hence time for coffee and time for nature call :D

Matinee show of destiny, Santa laughing tall!
I’m staring at red socks with wide open eye ball!

Another year is ending and minds at turmoil,
time for appraisal, bloods freezing or at boil!
Whole year we ploughed, watered, seeded the soil!
Now it's time to harvest feedback, rewards and smile!

Let no-one break spirit, nothing let you spoil,
keep sharpening yourself with knowledge lamp and oil!
Some efforts successful, some turns futile,
those win in life who runs extra mile!

Returning home around 9 pm,
stuck into kilometers long jam,
breathing the subtle polluted air
is not new.

What new is ...
looking outside from Olacabs ride
booked through OlaMoney
the #DigitalMoney.

What not so nice is ...
seeing long queues outside few ATMs
and NO Cash or Shutters down at most ATMs
and no change inside my wallet? :(

What a pity is ...
Seeing street vendors waiting for customers
to sell fruits, flowers, toys, cotton candies, bindis ...
9 pm and nothing sold as no one has cash? :((

#DeMonitization turning into suffocation,
masterstroke losing heartstroke,
appreciation depreciating.
rupee falling, Sensex sinking

It's becoming ugly utter,
a burden bitter with each day,
Wake up government
Make it right Governance! Faster.. sooner..

बिहार बनाना है

माँ सीता के हम हैं बच्चे।
गुरु गोविन्द के सैनिक सच्चे।।
महावीर से पायी शक्ति।
बुद्धा ने दी ज्ञान की भक्ति।।
आर्यभट्ट से मिली है दीक्षा।
चाणक्य से नीति की शिक्षा।।
हमने मन में ठाना है,
समृद्ध बिहार बनाना है।।

हर कोने में दुनिया के बिहारी।
अपने मेहनत से सब पे भारी।।
कन्धों पे हमारे कर के सवारी।
आगे बढ़ रही सृष्टि ये सारी।।
है अब अपने बिहार की बारी।
चल पड़ी है विकास की गाड़ी।।
जुबाँ पे एक ही गाना है,
उद्यमी बिहार बनाना है।।

गांव शहर में अलख जगाना।
कृषि कंप्यूटर उद्योग बढ़ाना।।
हर नौजवान को श्रमी बनाना।
हर बुराई समाज से मिटाना।
आगे ही आगे है बढ़ते जाना।।
हम उद्यमी हमसे है ज़माना।
हाथों में हाथ थामा है,
सपनों का बिहार बनाना है।।

Darkest Winter - Coldest Easter

Some how we counted the days and survived
the darkest Winter in fifty years!

And when we thought winter is over,
came coldest March in 100 years!

O my lord we have no more patience,
show some mercy and wipe our tears!

Next week is Easter and still chilling weather
God give us sunshine and warm atmosphere!

On one cold day in the last winter
I ran towards the train to enter.
Train started quickly like a storm,
in jiffy I dropped gloves on the platform.
Which I could only notice
when I reached the office.

I thought It was gone and
it's time to buy another one.
In the evening while returning
I saw my black gloves hanging,
gently on the corner of a bench
though because of snow' little drenched.

I picked the goves with smile
and thought for a while.
Who picked and put it there?
In this selfish world still so much care?
Since then when I find anything anywhere
I pick and hang it on a safe place near.


On the eve of this thanksgiving day
I humbly thank every one, today.
to whom I know and to the angel strangers
who contributed little or became life changers.
Who cared for me, my family and friends
I offer them love, prayer and garlands!

Wish you all a happy thanksgiving day!

Will Kejriwal Party be any different?

In one of my previous post I welcomed the decision by Team IAC (India Against Corruption) to form a political party.

The bitter experience by every existing political party made me hopeless and pessimist.

Will Kejriwal Party be any different?

What if he also become the same, another name in the list of corrupt Indian politicians?

I have been worried, scared and doubtful.

However I think that if I continue to vote for UPA or NDA or 3rd front, things will hardly change. They will continue to do what they have been doing.

I have made my decision that I will vote for Kejriwal. Corrupt UPA or NDA or 3rd front will hardly change anything. But Kejriwal might do something good for India. The reason behind this faith is Kejriwal's reputed work in the Right To Information and India Against Corruption movements.

Though I still suspect that the history will repeat it self.

Mahatma Gandhi lead us to freedom and a herd of corrupt, selfish and power hungry politicians took over the nation and started ruling for generations with personal agenda alaways over the top of the national agenda. Bapu spent his last days in extreme despair. His soul still might be grieving. Bapu could have gifted this legacy to his children and they could have ruled. But his generations hardly have any influence in the politics of India. Bapu did not think of his own children and that is one of the reasons to call him the Father of the nation.

Decades later, Mr. Jayaprakash Narayan gave us another movement. This gave birth to many powerful leaders of today. But these leaders did not do any different. Jayaprakash Babu spent his last days ailing and desserted. His soul might be still ailing.

I have a feeling that India Against Corruption movement lead by Mr. Kejriwal will be another historical movement. But I afraid that again this movement will bring same result in the long run. But I wish not.

In the great Ocean of
Indian Political home,
Tsunami of movements
will continue to come.

That will wash away all
and change it's dimension,
will raise new hope and trust
and put a new foundation.

Then waves of opportunist
will take over again,
and start leading India
for personal gain.

The history will repeat
in the ways big or small,
India will keep going on with
heroes like Bapu, JP, Kejriwal.

Missing my daughter whom I am going to join next week after more than a month. Skype and VoIP are wonderful but cannot replace the emotional hugs and touch.

मात-पिता की प्यारी बेटी
ऐश्वर्या रानी बिलकुल छोटी
दुबली पतली जरा न मोटी
बाल में उसके हैं दो चोटी

नयन मनोहर सुन्दर गोटी
दांते जैसे चमचम मोती
पूरी हुयी है सारी मनौती
है अब आँखों की वो ज्योति

किसी से भी जरा न डरती
खूब शरारत करती रहती
चोट लगे तो जरा सा रोती
गले लगा लो चुप हो जाती

भूख लगे तो खाती रोटी

Conceived, future leaders of Bihar!

First ever Patna marathon still remains a dream. Why this happened is not so important. Important is to learn from this and have better planning and preparation for next time.

What makes Facebook different is its ability to perform and extremely stressful conditions where it handles gracefully "hundreds of millions of requests per second". An ordinary site usually does not even survive thousand requests per second. Thats makes Facebook different and extraordinary. Same is true with human.

It will be interesting to see if team PM will break into pieces, listen to the energy suckers, start pointing at one another, lose all the hope and interest and give up eventually. Alternatively, they will withstand this acid test and come up stronger and convert this adversity into opportunity and doom into a boom. Swami Vivekanand has said "Each work has to pass through these stages — ridicule, opposition, and then acceptance". A infinite zeal and courage to pass through all of these stages.

Dr. Harivansh Rai "Bachchan" said "मन का हो तो अच्छा, ना हो तो ज्यादा अच्छा". If your wish come true, it's good. If not, even better as that is God's wish. And he has different plans for you". Few days back team PM has informed that they need to arrange Rs. 15 lakhs as some key sponsors backed off. There wee many other concerns raised every now and then. I believe that happens with every event and continues even after endlessley. The need is to identify those risks and have proper mitigation strategy.

Also as lot of people have donated to this cause, it will be good idea to ask them if they would like to make the account statements public and give them option to have the money. Another idea is to fix the money for may be 100 days or under another guaranteed scheme.

The positive side is that PM initiative (in subsequent to BEN) has built hope and brought the dreamers together which will lead the foundation of dream Bihar where every corner will have non-stop electricity, fast internet, abundant employment opportunities, quality hospitals, schools and roads. In short, we have health, wealth and harmony for everyone.

Dream Bihar and dream India will not be built by incompetent leaders who became so because of luck, charisma or buttering and mostly claim development on paper and indulge themselves in extreme corruption, deceiptful illusion, skilled indirection, total inaction, umpteen pretention, neverending procrastination character assasination, might demonstration and so on. The need is that we get millions of star instead of one sun or superstar. Single superstar trend leads to parasitism which have been hurting state and country consistently.

PM/BEN movements have conceived and connected the future leaders of Bihar, thousands of shining stars. The kind of energy, motivation, cooperation and harmony demonstrated has been incredible, laudable and most welcome. By leaders I mean not only limited to political leadership but in broader aspects like visionary, entrepreneur, social, achievers leaders.

I wish everyone for a better tomorrow!

ईद - बकरीद संग मिल के मनाया है एक दुसरे को गले भी लगाया है।

गाँधी मैदान में खेला खिलखिलाया है राजेंद्र घाट पर श्रद्धा के आंशु गिराया है।
काली घाट में हमने पुष्प बहाया है बुद्धघाट में जमके कूदा नहाया है|

दानापुर से सिटी तक साईकिल चलाया है बारिश में भींगा नहाया है।
मंदिरी, कंकडबाग, अशोक राजपथ, हवाई अड्डा को पैदल ही नापा है। .

आम अमरुद के पेड़ो के फुनगी पर लटका है गंगा के तट पर यारों को पटका है
मंदिरी की तंग गलियों में भटकनाहै गुपचुप खाना इखरस गटकना है|

चनाचूर, सोनपापड़ी, खाजा, बताशा है कोज़ी मनेर का याद स्वाद हमेशा है।
पाल, वसंत विहार का स्वादिष्ट साडोसा है लिट्टी, समोसा कुल्फी,अनरसाहै|

कोज़ी, मनेर, वसंत विहार, मौर्या लोक, उमा मोना, वीणा, अशोक भूले न भुलाता है।

बैंगलोर एकदम
नम्मा बेंगलुरु
आबाद रहे हरदम|

एक झोला लेके
आये थे कभी हम
चिंता थी थोड़ी ज्यादा
सपने थे थोड़े कम|

पहला कदम रखते ही
प्यार हो गया
बैंगलोर के मौसम से
इकरार हो गया|

नौकरी की तलाश ने
शहर घुमा दिया
पल पल के संघर्ष ने
पक्का बना दिया|

बैंगलोर थैंक्यू
सब कुछ मुझे दिया

With the very first step I fell in love mate
I liked so much green Bangalore's climate

Job hunt made me see entire Bangalore
Continuous struggle made me solid galore

You gave me everything thanks Bangalore
You made my life thanks Bangalore

Development, Prosperity and Harmony should flow
I pray from my heart that Bangalore always grow

Today dreams are bigger, worries little some
in the garden city of dreams, Bangalore number one

इस पावन प्रकाश-पर्व पर सबसे एक विनर्म निवेदन!
जो अन्धकार मिटा प्रकाश लाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं उनके हाथों की कालिख पर ध्यान न दे.
जो सफाई करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं उनके गंदे हाथ न देखे.
बल्कि उन्हें सहयोग दे, हौसला दे, तभी गन्दगी दूर हो पायेगी.
वर्ना हमारी जिंदगी कीचड़ और अन्धकार में कटेगी ही, हमारे बच्चों की भी.

टीम अन्ना आगे बढ़ो हम तुम्हारे साथ हैं.

किन्तु आज कहलाते राष्ट्रपिता!
सबने दुष्कर्म छोड़ा
और जोड़ा सुकर्म से नाता!

लोथ हो चूका है तू
अकेले कुछ कर न पाता!
घर साफ़ कर रहे है जो
उसपे तू क्यों चिल्लाता?
कीचड़ की हो चुकी है आदत
सफाई भी नहीं सुहाता?
बच्चे भी ऐसे ही जियेंगे
ये सोच जी नहीं घबराता?

कबतक बनकर रहे हम
अंध, मूक, श्रोता?
संग चल, आवाज उठा
मिलकर बने हम विजेता!
खाक में मिल कर रहेंगे

Finally I answer
the Schaffhausen call
On a sunny Sunday
reached with few pal

In the arms of
landscape beauty and fall
a day full of rejuvenation,
fun and carnival

A memory I wish
to cherish and recall
is when we moved
closer to Rhine fall

The splash of water
made me forget all
with shut eyes I
experienced something tall

While drenching by the
drops like tiny ball
I missed mom-granies
and moments big and small

Serenity and purity
quenched my heart and soul
something you wont experience
in concrete jungle and mall

कोयल कूके दे सन्देश
हर पल रख इरादा नेक

कभी चोट से होते नीला
कभी रोग से पड़ते पीला
कभी आशा का होत उजाला!
राज हिमालय दे उपदेश
कभी न मानव मस्तक टेक

प्रीत का होता रंग गुलाबी
नारंगी होता बैरागी
