Will Kejriwal Party be any different?

In one of my previous post I welcomed the decision by Team IAC (India Against Corruption) to form a political party.

The bitter experience by every existing political party made me hopeless and pessimist.

Will Kejriwal Party be any different?

What if he also become the same, another name in the list of corrupt Indian politicians?

I have been worried, scared and doubtful.

However I think that if I continue to vote for UPA or NDA or 3rd front, things will hardly change. They will continue to do what they have been doing.

I have made my decision that I will vote for Kejriwal. Corrupt UPA or NDA or 3rd front will hardly change anything. But Kejriwal might do something good for India. The reason behind this faith is Kejriwal's reputed work in the Right To Information and India Against Corruption movements.

Though I still suspect that the history will repeat it self.

Mahatma Gandhi lead us to freedom and a herd of corrupt, selfish and power hungry politicians took over the nation and started ruling for generations with personal agenda alaways over the top of the national agenda. Bapu spent his last days in extreme despair. His soul still might be grieving. Bapu could have gifted this legacy to his children and they could have ruled. But his generations hardly have any influence in the politics of India. Bapu did not think of his own children and that is one of the reasons to call him the Father of the nation.

Decades later, Mr. Jayaprakash Narayan gave us another movement. This gave birth to many powerful leaders of today. But these leaders did not do any different. Jayaprakash Babu spent his last days ailing and desserted. His soul might be still ailing.

I have a feeling that India Against Corruption movement lead by Mr. Kejriwal will be another historical movement. But I afraid that again this movement will bring same result in the long run. But I wish not.

In the great Ocean of
Indian Political home,
Tsunami of movements
will continue to come.

That will wash away all
and change it's dimension,
will raise new hope and trust
and put a new foundation.

Then waves of opportunist
will take over again,
and start leading India
for personal gain.

The history will repeat
in the ways big or small,
India will keep going on with
heroes like Bapu, JP, Kejriwal.

चुटकी भर ईमानदारी

समाचार देख रहा था टेलीविजन पर. उफ़ कितने सारे विज्ञापन आते हैं. वो जमाना गया जब समाचार या कार्यक्रम के बीच में विज्ञापन दिखाया जाता था. अब तो मानो जैसे विज्ञापन के बीच में कार्यक्रम दिखाया जाता है.

टाटा नमक का विज्ञापन देखा. कुछ इस तरह का सन्देश है "यदि हर माँ अपने बच्चे को चुटकी भर ईमानदारी रोज दे तो देश तो इमानदार बनेगा ही."

सोचने लगा.

टाटा नमक की कीमत सोलह रूपये से शुरू होती है. देश की साठ प्रतिशत आबादी गरीब है और वो ये नमक नहीं खरीद सकती. धन्यवाद सरकार को और मुद्रास्फीति को.

बीस प्रतिशत जनता राजनेता, सरकारी नौकरशाह, बाबू, दलाल, माफिया, बिचौलियों की जमात है और उसमे में अधिकांशतः बेईमानी की रोटी खाते हैं. वो लोग अपने बच्चो को टाटा नमक खिलाने की सोच भी नहीं सकते. कही संतान इमानदार निकल गया तो? दुनिया को, बिरादरी वाले को क्या मुंह दिखायेंगे? सोच के ही उनका कलेजा मुंह को आ जाता होगा. बेचारे. टाटा नमक को उनपे रहम क्यूँ नहीं आता?

अब बाकी की बीस प्रतिशत जनता के लिए नमक के दर्जनों विकल्प हैं. तो टाटा नमक के लिए कितना बाजार बचता है? उनके लिए सलाह. ये ईमानदारी वाला विज्ञापन जल्द से जल्द बंद कर दे. बाजार में हिस्सेदारी बढ़ जाएगी.

I was watching news on television. Oh my God! So many advertisements! Those days are gone when advertisements used to come between programs. Those days are gone when there use to be commercial breaks between programs. Now a days it is program breaks between commercials. Programs come between advertisements.

I saw Tata Salt's advertisement which is very frequent these days. The message goes something like this "If every mother serve their child a pinch of salt, country is bound to be honest."

I was lost in thoughts.

The price of Tata salt starts from Rupees sixteen. So sixty percent of the population is poor and cannot afford it. Thanks to the government and inflation.

Twenty percent include politicians, leaders, babus, brokers, middlemen, mafia and majority of them practice corruption and unfair methods religiously. They cannot even think of serving Tata salt to their children. What if the child become honest and nationalist. How they we show their face to their community? Poor guys! Why Tata salt did not even think of their concerns?

Remaining twenty percent public have over a dozen alternative of salts. So how much potential market left for India? An advice for them! Please take back this advertisement as soon as possible. This will increase their market share.

Baba Ramdev against corruption

Baba Ramdev has started his second inning of the fight against corruption.

On day one he started praising government, Prime Minister, Mother Sonia Gandhi and Brother Rahul.

From next day he started rebuking government. And now he started provoking people by telling to be prepared to go to jail.

The question is that will he be there to lead them to jail? Or just like last time, will he run away in female disguise and left the poor supporters and followers on the mercy of Police?

Time will tell!

Though I had strongly protested last year's action in my post Shameful act by government of India.

Also, I mentioned on my post last year "God only knows the truth but the Baba has been alleged for tax evasion, abduction, murder and many other controversies and it might be easy to nail down Baba by blackmailing by the veterans in Congress."

So, I doubt on the success of the movement by Baba. But he can get a political advantage!

If I need to choose between Anna, Kejriwal, Baba, UPA and NDA. I will vote for Anna, Kejriwal.

If Anna, Kejriwal is not there then my vote will go for Baba!

The reason is simple. UPA or NDA will hardly change anything. Kejriwal, Baba or Anna might!

Bihar vs Gujrat

Yesterday a reporter asked about best governed indian states to RSS supremo Mr. Mohan Bhagwat. Mr. Bhagwat replied “Bihar, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh to some extent, MP to some extent, some parts of Maharashtra.”

Media made a big hype again. And the leaders perhaps without watching the interview or without knowing the context started praising or criticising the statement.

The bottom line is that Mr. Bhagwat never said that Bihar is above Gurjat. He just named the states and knowingly or knowingly he started with Bihar. I doubt if he siad it intentionally, as RSS backing Mr. Modi these days.

And media got a chance!

Wow media! Anyway, controversy means TRP which eventually means business!

New political alternative on the eve of Sixty-fifth Indepence anniversary

One of my friend shared this photo on my Facebook wall. On first glance, I was tempted to like it. But something stopped me.

There was only transfer of power on August 15, 1947. Mother India has been continuously looted in last sixty five years by the corrupt nexus of politicians, bureaucrats and mafia. Our parents have paid the price and we are paying. And if we will not act today, even our children will suffer tomorrow.

As I mentioned in my post "Are we bringing up chicken": I often ask myself "will our children too have to go through same what we are going through"? Are we bringing them up as chicken for the system so that their blood can be sucked or they can be butchered by the system? One day they will have voting rights to choose a corrupt government, they will live in awful law and order condition and pay income taxes on time when they start earning which will be looted.

I see a ray of light since Team Anna proclaimed to provide a political alternative to citizen's of India.

Many liked many did not. For me it's a wish come true!

Even being doubtful on individuals, with a hope for better tomorrow I have always supported anti-corruption movements. Cause is bigger than individual.

In my post When democracy failing why not Lokpal will? I raised a question:
When the complete infrastructure of democracy is crumbling, what is the guarantee that the Lokpals and Lokpal bill will not meet the same fate?

The constitution in this so called great democratic republic has provisions to tackle each and every challenge and there is provision to update them through a transparent procedure on the floor in parliament or assembly. Unfortunately that is often underutilized and/or misused by every government whether it is Congress, BJP or other party.

Why the UPA/NDA/XYZ govt will bring a strong anti-corruption lokpal bill? Their members are the major beneficiary of the corruption. Why they will axe themselves?

India is a free country and people have right to vote. There is no dictatorship. Then why to waste energy by fasting and movements?

Hence I have been always insisting on the need of strong political alternative.

But that is a mammoth task.

Majority of Indians are least privileged, uneducated, live in villages, speak different languages and have no access to Facebook, Twitter and private news channel.

They vote for caste, food, money.

How to educate citizens about what is right for them and country?

How Team Anna will find and nurture the leaders at grass root level in every village of India?

There will be flood of candidates to contest election on their ticket. Many will come and offer to donate few crores on a condition to get
ticket to contest. Funds will be required. How Team Anna will overcome that temptation?

Few suggestions:
1. Establish an election fund and start campaign for donation. The balance sheet should be public. This will ensure accountability and transparency. People will know from where money is coming and where it is going.

2. Ask for nomination for leaders at root level. Advertise! Candidates should be honest, law abiding, hard working, socially acceptable and have successful track record in any field. A proper background verification is a must.

3. Plan and start extensive Bharat yatra.

4. Take help of places of worship and place India against corruption Hoondi or donation boxes there.

5. Set up a radio channel. Create informative audio/video contents in each language and start distributing and educating people. Have tie ups with telecom providers to distribute these message on mobile.

If I need to choose between Anna, Kejriwal, Baba, UPA and NDA. I will vote for Anna, Kejriwal.

If Anna, Kejriwal is not there then my vote will go for Baba!

The reason is simple. UPA or NDA will hardly change anything.

Kejriwal, Baba or Anna might!

Appeal to citizen:

अवतार का इन्तजार

भारत के राजनीतिज्ञों का
आज चित्र विचित्र है|
ह्रदय में है कालिख
निम्न उनका चरित्र है||

अनुराग विद्वेष के बिना
कर्त्तव्य की शपथ खाते हैं|
कैसा शपथ है सोच ये
मन ही मन मुस्कराते हैं||

नोच रहे देश वो
जैसे निर्मम चील हैं|
देस लिटा सलीब पर
ठोंक रहे कील हैं||

सफ़ेद है लिबास किन्तु
दुष्कर्म जघन्य है|
क्षमा प्रार्थना भी
अपराध अक्षम्य है||

अशिक्षा, गरीबी, महंगाई,
भ्रष्टाचार हमें उपहार है|
सहन अब न हो हमें
नए अवतार का इन्तजार है||

मेरे सपनों का भारत

हर चेहरे पर मुस्कान हो
हर हाथों को काम हो|
गगन चुम्बी स्वाभिमान हो
हर भारतवासी कीर्तिमान हो||

वाणी में मिठास हो
सफलताओ की प्यास हो|
आलस्य को अवकाश हो
अनगिनत प्रयास हो||

कृषि का विकास हो
मंजिले आकाश हो|
अज्ञानता का नाश हो
हृदय में प्रकाश हो||

आतंक का संहार हो
अहिंसा का व्यवहार हो|
सबको सबसे प्यार हो
ऐसे संस्कार हो||

अन्न का भंडार हो
नित्य नए अविष्कार हो|
शिक्षा का संचार हो
प्रगति का विचार हो||

ज्ञान का सम्मान हो
विज्ञान का उत्थान हो|
रोगों की रोकथाम हो
भ्रष्टाचार का न निशान हो||

मुख पर मोहक हर्ष हो
और भीषण संघर्ष हो|
सद्भाव का व्यवहार हो
किन्तु पराजय अस्वीकार हो||

नित्य नूतन प्रयोग हो
संसाधनों का सदुपयोग हो|
खोयी प्रतिष्टा पुनर्जित करे
लक्ष्य नए निर्धारित करे||

हर भारतीय आगे बढे
हरसंभव यत्न करे|
सौ बार हो विफल
एक और प्रयत्न करे||

मिल के ये ले शपथ
चलेंगे हम प्रगति पथ|
फिर ये स्वप्न साकार हो
और ऐसा चमत्कार हो||
